I spent years working different construction and welding jobs before I realized something: I was more interested in solving problems than just clocking hours. Every job, I'd see a better way to do something, or spot where we could improve the work. That feeling didn't fade. It got stronger.

So I made a choice. I spent five more years working for another contractor, deliberately learning everything I could about running crews, managing big jobs, and seeing how decisions ripple through a project. I watched what worked and what didn't. I learned how to move people and processes. Then I knew I was ready. I got my license and started this business because I wanted to build the way I believed it should be done.

That was 25 years ago. It turns out people notice when you care about the work more than just getting paid. They tell their friends. They call back. And the business grew because we earned it one project at a time.
